This is a great discussion of the new reality we live in and managing what it is to be a parent while providing balance and caring for all the family members.
Angie Shockley, MA, CSP, has spent 25 years working with adolescents, teens, young adults, parents, and families helping them navigate the challenges of daily life. Using her years of experience and training, Angie provides coaching, education, consulting, and alternative healing services for individuals and groups. She has studied Shamanic and Energetic Healing modalities under Berta Khunel of Balanced Horizons and is a Certified Shamanic Practitioner. Angie also utilizes the healing benefits of Reiki in her work. She is available for face to face sessions as well as distance work via phone.
She began her career as a teacher and continues to have a passion for education and facilitating learning opportunities for others. She is a successful entrepreneur, having built several businesses from the ground up, including Q&A Associates, a family of residential transitional programs for young adults. She is an accomplished horsewoman and rider, providing guided trail rides, riding lessons, equine facilitated learning, and equine based healing for kids and adults with mental, emotional and physical challenges.

Angie loves singing and playing guitar and piano. She also enjoys pursuing her hobbies of art, hiking, farming, and fishing. She shares her life with her husband Matt and their family, daughter Sarah, husband Zach and grandson Dolan, and sons Michael, Clay and Bode along with their dogs, cats, horses, pigs, cows, goats, and chickens. They enjoy living in Canaan Valley, WV, truly Almost Heaven.
