Dan Nevins is a professional speaker, yoga teacher, and advocate for veterans. Dan is also a United States Army Veteran who lost both of his legs fighting in the war after 9/11. Not a total stranger to our industry, Dan was introduced to the world of promo when he became the brand ambassador for retail-brand Basecamp, and he made grown men cry when he shared his story as the keynote speaker for PPAI’s Leadership Development Workshop (LDW) in 2019. You may have heard his story on industry broadcasts such as Promo Insider and Tacos with Jay and Jeff, but you haven’t heard this side of his story. Not yet.
Join us on May 13th for our next speaker event as this double-amputee yoga teacher opens up about the not-so-talked-about parts of his story as it relates to depression and mental illness, and walk away with tools to add to your toolbox on how to combat your own struggles, both in life and in business. Dan also brings awareness to the rapidly steady increase in veteran suicide, and sheds a light on what you can do if you or someone you love is also a veteran and/or active-duty military, sharing similar battles.
